I use a larger gear ratio. So I use a front brake.. Also it helps evoke a skid by getting weight off the rear wheel. I use brakeless on my shorter ratio bike as it is very easy to skid.
No brakes, I'm riding a track bike, if I want to cruise and not have to check my speed before intersections and plan out every move I'm going to make while riding, then I'll ride a beach cruiser, but until then I'm riding a track bike.
