What's your take on all the new designs Velocity rolled out at Interbike this year? I think some of them are way to ridiculous to actually put on a bike, but things like the wood look seem pretty cool. What's your opinion? Anyone bought wheels with crazy designs?
Check out the new designs HERE.

I want the burled wood pattern. Front and rear, with gold spokes and nipples. I'd probably need to buy hubs worthy of the build, or have two commissioned.
is that elvs one reflective? they have a non-illuminated and a illuminated picture. some of them remind me of those wacky folders i used to use in like 3rd grade.
Went by bicycle revolutions today in Philly. The Velocity checkered wheels are $400+ a set... Kinda ridiculous price if you ask me, but also pretty fucking cool. :)
$400? Why is it that a company that is trying to appeal to some of those who ride but who are a little out of the left field can't get it in their heads that the same ppl are not made of money. Make it affordable and you make more money. Simple economics. Make them $200 and you end up selling twice as many and making more money.
There goes my plans for glow in the dark Zigers! Fark!
